International Business Language Code

Image, well-manners and customs in a multi-cultural world

While willing to sort out the chaos incurred by international business and culture in the global village, I developed a language, a language based on a thorough acquaintance with western manners protocol on one hand, the understanding of common business interests of people of different cultural and religious background and the need to bridge the gap; and on the other, a comprehensive observation of all areas that require a new conceiving of business culture.

IBL Code - the international business language described in this book represents some 90% of the basic communication between humans (10% based on acquaintance with local customs, especially in social or business situations).

This business language constitutes a large scope, yet detailed reference to all aspects of professional communication based on networking theory, which turns to be a decisive factor in a world of people who do not know each other, and up to appearance which is supposed to pass on adequate messages at any time, in any place. It provides a valuable tool for a better knowledge of international hospitality practice, business culture and protocol while taking care of not losing personal identity.

For example: the concept of contemporary business culture proving that time is money, thus a precious value, is accepted by any business person wherever she/he comes from, no matter whether she/he is comfortably sitting at the office in Silicon Valley, or driving a 4x4 car patrolling diamond companies in South Africa or managing her/his team of programmers in New Delhi, India. For an effective time management of everyone and in order to enable communication between business people in remote locations worldwide, a common language is required, connecting cultures and traditions despite differences.

Basic example of this language is the concept of being "just in time". Business people willing to have a video-conference call, will have to prepare themselves and attend the event in a state of full attention and energy at the appointed time – regardless that it may be late at night for an attendee, while "siesta" time for the second attendee or time for prayer for the third one. International business language aspires to be an universal language, set uniform rules, regardless of geographical location, culture, religious or traditional practices of any kind. The purpose of this language is to communicate in the same language while saving time and avoiding divergent interpretation in various situations.
